Veteran to Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Leadership skills, discipline and a heart for service: the traits that help veterans succeed in the military also make them perfect candidates to pursue nursing careers. St. Scholastica鈥檚 Veteran to BS in Nursing program helps veterans move seamlessly into an exciting new field.

St. Scholastica鈥檚 well-established nursing program has graduated thousands of dedicated professionals who are serving in hospitals across the region. Now, our expertise in nursing education is helping veterans transition into health care careers.

Designed specifically with veterans in mind, our Veteran to BS in Nursing is the only program of its kind in the Upper Midwest for main campus undergraduates. You鈥檒l enjoy personal advisement, academic support and clinical instruction from a faculty member who is a military veteran. You will move through the program in a cohort of your peers, creating a sense of community and camaraderie.

Academic Accommodations

You learned a lot from your time in the military, now it’s time you get credit for it. Our academic advisors will work with you to get every possible credit out of your military training and transcript and craft an academic plan that’s unique for you.

Our聽Center for Equal Access聽will help you stick to this plan. In addition, our leave policy will let you take time for training and deployments and pick up right where you left off.
